Bio:
Kevin graduated from Marianopolis College with a double D.E.C. in Arts and Science. Currently, he is in his final year of studies at the John Molson School of Business pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in Honours Finance. Kevin is on the Dean’s list and is a member of both the Institute for Co-operative Education and the Golden Key International Honour Society. He has had internships in Private Wealth Management, Buy-side Equity Research, Investment Banking and Private Equity. Upon graduation he plans to pursue the CFA and CA designations and work towards his MBA degree.

Aaron is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance. For the past three years he has run his own company, where he has successfully implemented vertical integration of a small business. He is equally fascinated by the world of finance as he is with entrepreneurship and intends to pursue a CFA designation upon graduating. In his spare time, he enjoys playing the guitar, travelling and reading.

Kristian is currently entering his fourth and final year at the John Molson where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Honours Finance. Kristian is on the Dean’s List, a member of the Institute for Co-operative Education, the Golden Key International Honours Society, and the Garnet Key Honour Society. Kristian has worked in various areas of finance, most recently completing an internship at Novacap Investments. At Novacap he worked alongside investment managers and partners on various M&A deals. Kristian is also the Vice-President of Finance for the Concordia Chapter of the Garnet Key Society. Upon graduation he plans to pursue a CFA charter as well as an MBA degree. Kristian enjoys traveling, competitive running, and reading on his spare time.

Isaac is currently in his second year at John Molson and is working towards a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in finance and a minor in financial reporting. He is a member of the John Molson Investment Society and the Institute of Co-operative Education. After developing an interest in valuation, Isaac completed the “Wall Street Prep” course and is now pursuing their certification. He is also pursuing the Canadian Securities Course designation. Currently interning at IJW Management, an investment-banking boutique, he plans to become a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) and work in M&A. During his spare time Isaac likes to read, cook and snowboard.

Silvana graduated from Vanier College, honours, with a DEC in International Business. Her interests have always been in the realm of international business, economics and finance. She is currently working towards a Bachelor of Commerce, at JMSB. She has interned as an international trader for a food commodities trading firm. Silvana has participated in several programs and activities at JMSB, including the International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) where she studied abroad at École Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse. Most recently, she has worked at the Career Management Services office helping to reach potential employers for JMSB students. In her spare time, she enjoys dancing, volleyball and reading.

Manish is currently in his final year at John Molson and is completing a major in finance with a minor in management. Last year, Manish represented JMSB in several case competitions. Most notably, Jeux du Commerce where his team was awarded third place in Human Resources. He also competed and won the Ryerson Organizational Behavior case competition, in which he and his team outlined a step-by-step business plan to increase workplace productivity and efficiency. He plans to write the CFA Level 1 exam later this year. After University, Manish plans to study corporate law specializing in M&A. In his leisure time, Manish enjoys working out, reading and listening to music.

Born and raised in Montreal, Giacomo “Jack” Maggiore is finance major with a minor in Financial Reporting at JMSB. He is also a Vanier College Alumni, having graduated with a DEC in International Business, honours. Giacomo has worked at Dundee Wealth Management and the JMSB Formula Growth Trading Lab. He is member of the John Molson Investment Society and the Institute of Co-operative Education. In his spare time, Giacomo is a Finance Columnist for the Prince Arthur Herald. Upon graduation from JMSB, he intends to pursue an investment career and acquire a CFA designation.

Jen is currently in her second year at JMSB and is working towards a Bachelors of Commerce. Her studies in psychology have led to an interest in Behavioral Finance. Jen decided she wanted to study business in summer of 2008, after participating in Camp de Jeunesse’s Entrepreneurship Camp. Along with fifty other students, she spent the summer establishing a small-scale business and earned the title of “Most Profitable Business”. She aspires to pursue a career in Corporate Finance. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, baking and travelling.

Yashu is currently in his third year at JMSB and is pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics. Yashu has competed in several stock simulation events throughout eastern Canada, winning bronze and silver at the UQTR Stock Simulation and the 2011 Commerce game. This year, Yashu hopes to attract and educate students about the possibilities of a degree in Finance and to also give students a glimpse of what it’s like on a trading floor.

Stefan is currently majoring in Finance at JMSB, specializing in International Finance and derivatives. He is on the Dean’s Honour List and has received the Richard and Carolyn Renaud Entrance Scholarship. He is also a Golden Key International Honour Society member, and was invited to become a member of The International Honour Society Beta Gamma Sigma. As part of his interest in International Business, he spent a semester studying abroad at Grande École Supérieure de Commerce de Toulouse. He has also participated in the Rotman International Trading Competition. Stefan is a member of the JDC delegation for 2012. He enjoys traveling in his free time.

Bio:
Julian is currently working towards a Bachelor of Science at Concordia University, specializing in Mathematical and Computational Finance. He is on the Dean’s Honour List and has received the Vincent, Olga and Denis Nicolas-Diniacopoulos Scholarship. While studying in mandarin in Shanghai, Julian completed an internship with Standard Chartered Bank (China) working in Front Office Support. In 2010, he worked as project manager for the Formula Growth Investment Lab at John Molson School of Business where he designed the software used for the inaugural John Molson Stock Exchange National Stock Simulation Competition. In summer 2011, Julian worked for CIBC World Markets in the Capital Markets Trading division in Montreal. Julian is also a Research Associate for the Kenneth Woods Portfolio Management Program, in charge of helping with the management of its $1.5M endowment fund. His interests lie in trading derivative instruments and his professional goal is to eventually be the director of a successful asset management firm. In his leisure time, Julian enjoys judo, sailing and reading.

After obtaining a DEC in Pure and Applied Science at Dawson College, Stuart is now pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree at Concordia University, specializing in Mathematical and Computational Finance. He also completed a summer internship at Natcan Investment Management, working in the Liability Driven Investing division. In addition, Stuart led tutorials for this past summer session of Analysis of Markets (COMM 220) at JMSB. In his leisure time, Stuart enjoys playing hockey, tennis, golf, and poker.

Bing successfully completed an internship at Bombardier Aerospace, his main responsibility was to complete a market study for the Supply Chain department. Upon graduation, Bing intends to pursue a CFA designation. In his spare time, Bing plays in the Bombardier soccer league.
