For the seventh consecutive year, the Finance and Investment Students’ Association (FISA) of the John Molson School of Business is proud to host the John Molson Stock Exchange competition. This dynamic event will take place on Saturday, November 12th, 2016, at the St. James Theatre located in Montréal’s historic Old Port.
What should you be looking for?
An exciting daylong competiton! Participants will be able to compete in groups of four against students from universities across the continent! Each student competes in an OPEN OUT-CRY MARKET, entertaining and soliciting bids and offers, in pursuit of maximizing the value of his or her ficticious portfolio.
Why you don’t want to miss it?
The John Molson Stock Exchange competition allows participants to bridge the gap between theory and practice, while providing the opportunity for students to network and meet with industry professionals. The event is designed to be beginner friendly, therefore all University students interested in Finance are welcome to register, no matter their field of study or their level of knowledge on the subject. … And a total of $5000 in cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams and traders!
You don’t know much about finance?
No need to worry! The event is designed to be BEGINNER FRIENDLY. All University students interested in Finance are encouraged to participate, no matter your field of study or level of knowledge on the subject. There will be intensive training for the first part of the day to bring everyone at par.
